GOZIDI Riders Terms & Conditions

The GOZIDI application and all related services are provided and managed by GOZIDI Limited ("GOZIDI", "we", "our", or "us").

These Terms and Conditions ("User Terms") govern your access to and use of the GOZIDI mobile application, website, and all related services, features, content, and functionality (collectively, the "Services"), whether accessed via mobile device, tablet, or computer.

This document constitutes an electronic record under applicable information technology laws and does not require a physical or digital signature.

By clicking "I ACCEPT" or by accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Services.

Your acceptance forms a legally binding agreement between you and GOZIDI.

By accepting these Terms, you also consent to receiving service-related and occasional promotional communications via email, SMS, or in-app notifications.

For the purposes of these Terms:

• Account: Your registered profile enabling access to the Services.
• Subscription Fee: The weekly or monthly payment required to activate rides, which become active within forty-eight (48) hours of payment confirmation.
• City of Operation / 21 km Zone: Services currently available within Dar es Salaam, limited to a 21-kilometer radius as determined by GOZIDI.
• Driver: An independent, vetted individual holding valid permits and licenses to provide transportation services.
• Ride: Transportation service facilitated through the GOZIDI platform.
• E-Wallet / Digital Payments: Electronic payment methods approved by GOZIDI.
• Force Majeure: Events beyond GOZIDI’s reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, system failures, government actions, or civil unrest.
• Total Ride Fee: The total cost associated with a Ride.
• Vehicle: The vehicle used to provide a Ride.
• Substitute Vehicle: A replacement vehicle assigned in case of breakdown or unavailability.
• Applicable Laws: Laws and regulations in force within the jurisdiction of operation.

You must:

• Be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract under applicable law.

• You must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information during registration.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Only one Account is permitted per Rider.
• Providing false or misleading information may result in suspension or termination of your Account.

You agree to:

• Use the Services solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Not access unauthorized accounts or engage in unlawful activities.
• Not interfere with, disrupt, or damage the GOZIDI platform or related systems.

GOZIDI may collect, process, and share your personal data with service partners strictly for the purpose of delivering Services.

By using the Services, you consent to receiving communications via phone calls, SMS, email, or in-app notifications related to service updates, transactions, and promotions.

• In the event of vehicle breakdown or operational issues, a Substitute Vehicle may be assigned where available.
• GOZIDI shall not be liable for delays caused by breakdowns, traffic conditions, or other unavoidable circumstances.

• Only one Ride request may be active per Account at any given time.
• GOZIDI shall not be responsible for any Ride requested on behalf of another person.

Rides not used on the scheduled day shall be forfeited and shall not be carried forward unless otherwise specified.

Rides activate at 12:00 AM on the applicable day and may be used at any time within that day.

• GOZIDI shall not be liable for waiting time caused by traffic congestion, vehicle breakdowns, or other unforeseen circumstances.
• Repeated delays may be reported to Customer Service, and alternate Drivers may be assigned where possible.

• Riders must confirm accurate pickup time and location.
• Multiple incorrect submissions may result in ride forfeiture or temporary suspension.

• Only digital payments are accepted. Cash and physical card payments are not permitted.
• Rides activate within forty-eight (48) hours after payment confirmation.
• A full refund shall be issued if no Ride is provided within forty-eight (48) hours of purchase.

• No refunds shall be issued after the first Ride has been completed.
• Auto-renewal may be disabled prior to the next billing cycle to prevent further charges.

• Rides may be cancelled within five (5) minutes of booking without penalty.
• More than three (3) cancellations per month may result in ride forfeiture or account restrictions.

Users must not:

Misconduct may result in ride termination, penalties, account suspension, or legal action.

• Smoke, consume alcohol, or engage in illegal activities during a Ride.
• Distract or harass Drivers.
• Engage in abusive, threatening, or inappropriate behavior.

GOZIDI shall not be liable for failure or delay in performing its obligations due to Force Majeure events. Services may be temporarily suspended during such events.

You agree to indemnify and hold GOZIDI harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your misuse of the Services or breach of these Terms.

GOZIDI shall not be liable for:

• Missed transportation connections.
• Service delays.
• Lost or misplaced items.
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

All platform content, including trademarks, logos, software, and materials, is owned by GOZIDI Limited or its licensors.

The Services may be used solely for personal, non-commercial purposes and may not be copied, modified, distributed, or exploited without prior written consent.

• This Agreement remains effective while you use the Services.
• You may terminate by deleting your Account.
• GOZIDI may suspend or terminate Accounts for violations of these Terms.
• Termination shall not affect accrued rights or obligations.

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

These Terms shall prevail over any other agreements unless expressly stated otherwise in writing by GOZIDI Limited.

GOZIDI Limited operates as a technology platform connecting Riders and Drivers.

Services are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. GOZIDI disclaims all warranties, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

• These Terms shall be governed by the applicable laws of the jurisdiction of operation.
• Parties shall first attempt to resolve disputes amicably within thirty (30) days.
• Unresolved disputes shall be referred to binding arbitration in accordance with applicable arbitration laws.
• Courts of competent jurisdiction shall retain exclusive authority where arbitration is not permitted.

GOZIDI Limited reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Services following updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
